Product Liability

Provides protection against claims arising out of the use, handling or consumption of a product.

Product Liability insurance protects manufacturers and suppliers when claims are made for injuries and damage incurred in the use of their goods or products.

Product Liability insurance can be purchased on a stand alone basis or as part of a broader General Liability policy.

In most cases, it does not cost significantly more to purchase the broader General Liability policy (which includes Product Liability) and this is clearly in the best interests of the manufacturer or distributor.
